Now employed!

Fri Oct 30, 2009, 4:32 PM
Well, I've got a job at a local call center, doing customer service for Rogers Wireless.

It's boring, but it pays ok and gets me out of the house.

I'm still taking commissions, though the time it takes me to complete one these days is like 1 per month. VERY long thanks to my filled schedule.

Despite that, everything's going ok. My D&D game is going strong, I still like it here in Miramichi.

Something is stressing me out, but I can't quite put my finger on it. It's probably money... :p

Stupid money, making my lower back ache. It's fading since I've been paying attention to how I've been sitting, as well as the new job. Attitude makes all the difference so I'm going to keep being as positive as possible.

Hurray for everything!

Also: Champions Online didn't work out, it needs a -lot- of work. So I'm back into World of Warcraft. I'm going to stick to my characters in Kirin Tor (Bemsho(alliance), Burott(horde), Seikko (alliance) and in Kul Tiras (Varghan(horde)) so come on and say 'hi!' if you want. I've been playing Seikko the most. I just wish I could make her as tall and buff as I draw her. Oh well!

I draw your characters. For the economy! (and $40)

Tue Sep 15, 2009, 10:20 AM
I really have very little to say on these Journal entries. I'm currently unemployed and waiting for a job to roll in, and in the mean time I'd like to make a little extra money on the side.

The recession is supposedly over, so we need to spend-spend-spend to get the global economy back up! That's right!

If you spend money on me, I'll spend money somewhere else and revitalize the economy! Wow! It's so easy!

I'll draw pretty much anything, but I usually draw people's RPG characters. My prices usually end up around $40 and that goes up and down depending on the complexity of the piece you're asking for.

ACT NOW!

I'm not going to bother with slots and silliness like that, 'cause I'm never really overworked.

COMMISSIONS (just a reminder)

Wed May 20, 2009, 10:43 AM
Hey, deviants! I'm trying to get more productive with my commissions, so I'm annoucing that I'm going to have FIVE slots open from now on until I get work again. So, please! I'll draw whatever you want as long as you pay me. X D

MY 5 ART SLOTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
0. Shutsumon (completed)
1. Frog
2. Alectai
3. SLOT FREE
4. SLOT FREE
5. SLOT FREE

(All drawings start in pencil, with ink, colour, etc. added later)

$15 = Full body
$10 = Half body (waist up, waist down, knees to shoulders)
$5 = Partial body (face, eye)
+$5-10 = Per extra character, depending on how much of them is in the drawing.

+$5-15 = Ink (depending on the circumstances above)

+$10 = Colour (Special FX, like glows and such are part of this, but if the scene requires extensive work on them I will charge +$5)

+ $5 - 25 = Background (price increases with detail)

Anything NSFW can add from $5-25 to the price depending on what you want. By this I mean nudity, gore, or anything else I wouldn't want to show my mother or add to my portfolio/gallery. I reserve the right to refuse to draw what you ask if I don't approve.

If it applies, I would like to be able to add your commissions to my portfolio and DA gallery. I will not take credit for designing any of your original characters (or trademarked characters), just that I drew them.

I will deliver your art on-line, but if you want the original sketch physically (since I do everything else digitally) I will only ever ask for the money it takes for postage and shipping.

I have a specific process for the sake of the security of both artist and commissioner.
1) We discuss the art and price before I begin.
2) I work on the drawing, sending you WIP pictures (work in progress) if I feel I need to, always with a gigantically annoying watermark.
3) After you're happy with what you're paying for, I send you the final version without the watermark after I receive the money.

And that should keep us all happy.

Thanks!

COMMISSIONS RE-OPENED!

Tue Mar 24, 2009, 4:26 PM
Three Delivery is finished! Soon it will be in post-production, and then shipped off to the networks. WOW! What a project. I think I'm really going to miss it, despite how hard it was. It was sad to have to clear off my desk. Though Fatkat is still up and running, we currently have no projects in the animation phase. That will happen sometime around June for a kids cartoon produced by people from Germany. Exciting! I can't say too much, but it feels so awesomely old school, I can't wait to work on it.

Until then, I can focus on my side-projects, commissions, and finally start up a regular weekly RPG with some friends.

However, I am also no longer getting any income, so if you want me to draw you something, I need your money! X D
